As a child who grew up in a abusive household I developed many unhealthy spiritual habits, and one MAJOR thing that I struggled with was unforgiveness it infected me like a cancer and I felt that I didn’t need to forgive my mother because after all she never acknowledged her wrongs. The older I got, the more I experienced hurt at the hands of my family and also others that I met I felt as though if my mother didn’t love me how can God love me? Was forgiveness necessary for me to walk with Christ? Was the hardest decision in my life actually more easier than my flesh made it feel?
I can attest that in order to have a successful relationship with Jesus Christ you MUST forgive EVERYONE even when it HURTS. Unforgiveness is actually a work of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21 kjv) it leads to hatred and gives you a ticket straight to hell.
Our relationship with God, is built on forgiveness when we repent of our sins we are also asking for forgiveness in order to have a relationship with God. Jesus tells us in Mark 11:26: But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses kjv.
In order to experience true freedom and healing from the shackles of abuse and spiritual defeat one must be willing to forgive wrongdoings that was done to them NO MATTER how much it hurts. I know it hurts but love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8 kjv) I love Jesus Christ more than I love my pain and hurt He frees us from the bondage of bitterness.
The longer I held on to the past the more bitter I got. We have two choices in our healing process to get bitter or better.
Sit and reflect on these things:
- Is holding in hurt and resentment worth your eternal soul in Hell? Are you justifying reasons you shouldn’t forgive someone who has wronged you, are you letting your flesh get in the way of TRUE deliverance?
- Is your relationship with God based on an actual relationship of true love, and repentance? Are you just covering up your bitterness with empty praises and clinging to unforgiveness while slowly sinking into anger (works of the flesh)?
Bitterness is a seed that gets planted at a early age and it springs up slowly and by the time you realize that you have a problem you are in hell regretting and wishing that you would have came to Christ for healing. Most bitter people do not realize they are bitter, they are cynical they are deep rooted in the flesh and many of these people think that they are Christians. As true followers of Christ we must deny ourselves (Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.)
Abuse is my cross and denying myself means that I put anger and resentment(bitterness) far from me. I will follow Christ because only He can give me deliverance, healing, and most of all LOVE. I choose not to walk in the flesh, but I will walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:16 kjv This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.)
Repent for the kingdom of God draws near! Whatever wrong that was done to you please give it to Jesus He will handle it. True freedom come from forgiveness because it allows you to place your FULL Faith (trust) in God it leaves justice to Him (Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the LORD.)
Unforgivness puts up a wall between you and Jesus a wall so high that you wont be able to experience His love, and the freedom that comes with it.
FORGIVE, REPENT, AND BE SET FREE!
What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? (Psalms 8:4 kjv)
The older I got the less I knew about myself. Abuse, life, drugs, and this world had took its toll on me I felt misunderstood and misplaced in a big world with no identity to call my own. I seen how my past affected the way I looked at Jesus (He revealed it to me in a dream) how I viewed Him as an image of a corruptible man the more I seeked the less I knew, the less I knew the more realized that I needed Jesus. Not the cookie cutter Jesus that so many referred to because it looked good on paper no I wanted the REAL thing I had to have the REAL thing.
What are we? That God loves us so much. He is so mindful of us and the thoughts He thinks towards us is good and not evil. He is our Creator, and He holds each and every one of us in the palm of His hand I am truly blessed to be chosen by God to be saved by way of Jesus Christ. How beautiful is our great God!! And how His mercy endures, how when we were still sinners Christ died for us isn’t that such a heart warming thing? We reject love a lot of times because we DON’T know love the world has conditioned us with a water down version on what love should be. Materialism, vanity, pride, lust, the list goes on and on…….
We are in the end of days. Time is drawing close for Christ to return! Don’t be left in the dark. The trumpets are starting to blow, many will be left behind and many don’t believe(just like in the days of Noah). My hope is that whoever is reading this blog post repents and seeks Jesus Christ all it takes is this:
Acknowledge that you are a sinner
Repent for your sins and Ask God for Forgiveness
Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Ask the Lord to come into your heart as Lord of your life.
Believe that He died and He rose & Get in the Word & Stay Connected to God.
I hope this Message finds you well. May God bless you and Keep you!
Philipians 5:17-19 says, ” Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the spirit.”
I am currently in the middle of a spiritual transition. I am shedding the old, and making way for the new things that El Shaddai(God) has in store for me. Leaving behind these old thoughts that has haunted me since childhood, and replacing them with the unchanging Word of the Living Most High God in Heaven. I am scared, but isn’t being fearful a part of human life? It just depends on how rational or irrational your fear is and how you allow it to channel into your life. Stressing over what people think(that’s irrational) panicking over this coronavirus(that’s irrational) Fearing The Most High God and walking in His grace and begging for His mercy to endure upon you (that’s rational). There is so much going on in the world, so much that takes our minds off Christ that leads us to sink into the water rather than walking on the water towards Him.
We are all going through a transformation this new year. Are you striving to have a deeper relationship with Christ resulting in your moment to walk on the water with Him, or are you letting the obstacles and doubt of this world make you sink deeper into the waters of life stripping your mind of the Prince of Peace?
Maybe you don’t believe, and your looking for a sign so you can also experience Divine transformation well here it is:
May The Most High God give you strength on your journey He’s shaping you.🌼
Healing takes time, and despite what many people would like you to believe it only up to YOU to understand and conquer your own healing process. Effects from childhood trauma/abuse stays with the recipient long after the abuse was administered. Well anyways here is my list of “Ten things I learned while healing from Childhood Abuse”. May Yahweh Bless you on your healing journey.
- The best things in life are Christ. (He makes you free)
- Resting on Christ’s word is the ULTIMATE therapy in gaining healing from abuse.
- Being the bigger person isn’t easy but it’s worth it in the end Yahweh will only judge you based off your actions not the actions of another person.
- Many people won’t understand you (don’t expect them to) Yahweh understands you and that’s the only thing that matters
- It’s up to YOU to either break the cycle of abuse, or to keep the cycle going.
- Don’t let abuse make you bitter, instead opt for BETTER.
- Abuse makes you more aware of how truly toxic people can be and it sharpens your discernment skills as well.
- What people say or think about you doesn’t even matter, people who are quick to make warped judgements DO NOT KNOW YOU they certainly don’t know the struggles you have overcome.
- While they label, LAUGH you are STRONGER than you appear, and WISER than you seem.
- Good days and bad days (everyone had them) it’s up to you to push through with a smile or a frown.
This is a list that I have complied of ten things that I have learned while healing from my childhood abuse. Life happens, and it happens HARD sometimes. I found that crying out to The Most High Yahweh helps me tremendously, He gives me profound strength in this hard world. I pray my list motivates you and encourage you to see the rainbow in the sky, because after all in order to see the rainbow you must first get through the rain. ❤ May Christ comfort you all. Danyah. ❤
That’s one thing I finally understand the Lord spoke that into my spirit He whispered it quietly to me as I was sitting outside with Him during our morning coffee time. He whispered “Hurt people Hurt people and healed people heal people” He also guided me to a scripture :
Ephesians 4:18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts.
Hurt people Hurt people if you think about it if a person is full of love they love people, if they are full of hope they spread hope to people.Unfortunately in the world we live in a world it is slowly being dominated by narcissistic people, a lot of people are desensitized, and nonreactive to the suffering of others. The pain that they carry in their hearts overwhelms their reasoning of sound judgement of right, and wrong we are currently living in a world where people are running out of hope, and also love for Christ.
One thing that I’m starting to understand on my healing journey is that my abusers/ flying monkey’s/enablers/bullies hurt people because they HURT. Being a victim of abuse themselves, or being used in abuse leaves a person feeling confused, empty, hollow, and alone. Do I hurt? Honestly some days are better than others, but I feel like The Most High God in Heaven has me on this journey of healing to not only help me, but to also help others. I am being used to help people who are looking for a resolution, used for the broken hearted that seek to tap into the uncharted waters of healing provided FREE by the God Of Israel.
One thing that oddly gives me satisfaction is seeing the smile on other peoples faces, and another thing that actually gives me tremendous joy is putting the love that Christ put in my heart putting it in other peoples heart. Because as sad as life can be at times it is also short so, why not spread love to others? We all face different battles, and we all experience pain differently we may endure struggles, but you never know that ONE time that you decide to shine some light on someone’s darkness the Lord could be using you as His vessel to shine light into their whole world. The only person you can control is yourself, so give others the best gift that free and that is KINDNESS.
Have a Blessed Sabbath, Remember don’t hurt people Heal them.– TalkswithDanyah

Growing up with a narcissistic Mother is a defining experience. It influences decision-making throughout a lifetime, whether consciously or unconsciously. Explaining the impact of growing up with this family dynamic to someone who experienced love as a child is beyond complicated. These are a few things that I wish people understood.
Trust used to come naturally to me. However, once in recovery I had to begin questioning everything. No longer can I afford to take people at face value. Please do not take this personally. I question everything, because the things that were supposed to be a given in life were not what they seemed to be.
The person you saw and experienced was not who she really was. Just because you did not see the abuse, does not mean it did not happen. I was born to supply her with narcissistic supply. When the world did not treat her in the way she desired, she took that narcissistic supply from me in whatever way she deemed necessary.
Getting to the point of realizing and admitting to the experience of narcissistic abuse was a journey that made me question every part of myself. Please do not discount this journey. No one wants to admit their own Mother did not love them.
Loving someone without empathy or a conscious was a soul eroding experience. Choosing to hold onto my heart and empathy was the most painful choice I have ever made. My emotional spectrum is a conscious choice I paid greatly for.
I have been guilted into giving my original abuser the benefit of the doubt by society for a lifetime. The world does not like to believe women can have narcissistic and sociopathic traits, especially towards their own children. Not all women who have children are Mothers.
The experience of having a narcissistic Mother creates some of the strongest individuals in this world. We have experienced the evil of the world and rejected it by consciously choosing not to join them. One day I hope the world will understand this experience better. However, until then please honor the experience and feelings of those of us who grew up without love, but found the strength to stand up for what we truly deserve.
